Environmental Impacts
Waste Creation- Regulations are put in place to control the way industries deal with waste. However, in developing countries this is not always the case. Take a look at Dhaka, Bangladesh and see how a lack of infrastructure and environmental monitoring has left its rivers biologically dead, and its population facing serious health concerns. Click Here
Deforestation- in order to meet production levels, some individuals or corporations utilise extensive natural resources. The removal of trees or native habitats has negative impacts for wildlife, local populations and even the tourism industry.
